| Our client is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to join their team. The purpose of the role is to oversee the Food and Beverages department, in managing all food and beverage services and the day to day management of the business. This is a management role, so will involve duties and responsibilities as outlined below: Developing, training and appraising staff members Drawing up rotas Disciplinary, up to and including oral warning Assisting in maintaining beverage stocks, including quarterly stock takes of equipment Keeping up to date and full conversant with all health and safety regulation Assanging necessary training Dealing with any customer and or staff problems that may occur Ensuring all standards are adhered to Assisting in planning of future strategy of the business Ideally you will have a Basic (& Intermediate) Food Hygiene Certificate together with an NVQ3 or equivalent in Catering. You will need a Basic first aid certificate and good working knowledge of Health and Safety, including the ability to write Risk Assessments. Supervision and management of a team is necessary, together with IT skills, as you will need to use a computer from time to time.
