| Our client is currently seeking a Bookings Manager to manage and organise the bookings department. This department is the first point of contact for drivers and customers telephoning to arrange service, maintenance and repair on thei vehicles, together with drivers and customers reporting accidents. Your duties will include: Ensuring targets are met, reacting to situations quickly, Magaging and monitoring all staff, by telephone calls, new bookings, existing book reviews. Carrying out regular staff appraisals Carrying out one to one meetings where poor performance etc may lead to disciplinary Managing rotas You will need to be approachable and an excellent communicator at all levels. You will also need good grammar and writing skills. An assertive attitude will also be necessary, together with the ability to build rapport with people.
